What you will need:

Your username:
Your username is located on the card you got back after signing
up for your new account. It is typically Firstname_Lastname.
You can call the IT Helpdesk at x3000 to find out your username information.

Your Password:
Refer to http://studentdocs.eku.edu/email/password.php
for questions about your password.

The following is instructions accessing documents on your network space from an ITDS computer lab.

Basic Instructions:

Login to your account
Browse to your w: drive
Edit/save files
Logout of your account |
Logging into your account:
You can do this from any ITDS computer lab. Other labs on campus are beginning to support this as well.
- Sit down at the computer.
- Press CTRL - ALT - DELETE (all together at the same time)
- Type your email username in the "User Name" field.
- Enter your password in the password field.
- Click "OK"
You are now logged in. |
Browse to your w: drive:
Your network space is found on your w: drive. To see the contents of your w: drive, do the following.
Double click on "My Computer
Double click on the w: drive.
You can copy files here and save documents here from any application.

Copying Files from your Computer:
Files can be copied from your computer to your account in one of the following ways:
Any of the files you see on the desktop can be "dragged" to your account.
When using Internet Explorer to access your account, it behaves just like a normal folder. You can copy, paste, delete items inside this folder.

Logging out of your account:
You should close your browser to logout of your account. If you leave your browser open, someone could modify/delete files that belong to you.
